Golf Recap: Bonner Places 3rd in Philadelphia Catholic League Championship

The Philadelphia Catholic League Golf Championship was played at Melrose Country Club on October 4th. The very challenging and classic golf course was designed by Alister MacKenzie who also designed Augusta National, where The Masters is played every year. Bonner finished in 3rd place and kept pace with powerhouses LaSalle and St Joes Prep. Bonner had a strong solid season also finishing 3rd in the regular season. Joe Dougherty, Pat Lord, Dylan Williams and Corey McGrenera all earned All-Catholic Honors for Bonner.
Golf Recap: Tough Loss against Prep

Today will mark the first loss of the season for the golf team. St. Joseph Prep shot an impressive 224 at their home Philadelphia Country Club course. Posting numbers that even impressed their coach. Bonner struggled to answer and posted a score of 258. Joe Dougherty shot 39, Dylan Williams 41 and Pat Lord 42. Bonner looks to bounce back against Springfield tomorrow at Rolling Green in a non-league matchup. Go Friars!
Golf Recap: Triple Threat Match

On Tuesday, Bonner came out victorious in a 3 way battle with Archbishop Wood & St. Huberts. Joe Dougherty and Dylan William lead the way with a score of 37. Corey McGrenera also chipped in with a score of 38. Overall the team shot really well with a total score of 235.

Convincing win for Bonner golf against Penncrest Sunday night with the total score of 224-195. This was a dominating performance for Sophomore Dylan Williams and Pat Lord. Williams and Lord shot 35 and 36 leading the team to non-catholic league victory. The rest of the scores can be found below:
